Biography:
Daniel Quintana received a B.E. degree in mechatronics engineering from Instituto Tecnológico de Huatabampo, Huatabampo, Mexico, in 2017, and a Master of Science degree and a Ph.D. degree in automatic control from Instituto Tecnológico de Sonora, Ciudad Obregón, Mexico, in 2019 and 2024, respectively. Currently, he holds a postdoctoral position at the School of Engineering and Sciences, Tecnológico de Monterrey. His research interests include nonlinear observer design, modeling and control of systems, fault-tolerant control, and unknown input observers.
