Biography:
Ts. Inv. Dr. Teo Chee Loong studied Bioprocess Engineering at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia and graduated with a Ph.D. in 2015, receiving the Pro-Chancellor’s Award and Best Ph.D. Award. He then pursued postdoctoral research at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, where he focused on microalgae cultivation and bioengineering research, contributing to advancements in renewable energy technologies, biotechnology and microalgae application. Now, Dr. Teo joined Agri Season Sdn. Bhd., Malaysia, as R&D Director, where he continues to lead innovative projects on microalgae cultivation and its application in aquaculture and agriculture. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with industry and academic partners, significantly contributing to sustainable biotechnology applications in agriculture and aquaculture. He has published more than 46 scientific related writing and is recognized for his pioneering work in microalgae-based solutions and its relation application.
