Biography:
I am a young researcher at the National Fishery and Aquatic Life Research Center, Ethiopian Institute of Agricultural Research. I hold BSc in Biology and MSc in Aquatic Ecosystems and Environmental Management from Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia. Currently, I am in my third year of pursuing a PhD in Aquaculture at Shanghai Ocean University, China. Over the past five years, my work has focused on the sustainable development of aquaculture, fish health and broodstock management, and the enhancement of aquaculture practices to improve food security and livelihoods. I have authored four publications addressing the impacts of fish parasites and their prevention mechanisms, broodstock management, and fisheries management.
