Biography:
Dr. Muhammad Natsir Kholis, S.Pi., M.Si is a lecturer at the Department of Fisheries Resources Utilization, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, Universitas Riau. He specializes in **fishing technology, fishing gear engineering, fishing operation efficiency, and sustainable capture fisheries management**. His research focuses on developing fishing gear technology, improving fishing selectivity, and optimizing small-scale fisheries, including studies on mud crab fisheries using pento (trap) fishing gear. He is actively involved in research, scientific publications, and the development of adaptive, efficient, and environmentally friendly fisheries technologies.
