Biography:
Ogundare Taye Tobi holds a B.Sc. in Aquaculture and Fisheries from the University of Ilorin, Nigeria, where he conducted undergraduate research on the comparative efficiency of monofilament and multifilament gillnets in Asa River. He is currently based in China, where he teaches and coaches competitive debate while pursuing academic and professional development in aquaculture, environmental sustainability, and education. His interests lie in fisheries gear technology, artisanal fishing practices, and the intersection of ecological sustainability with local livelihoods.
