Biography:
Zoe Alexander is from Marietta, Georgia, and received a B.A. in both Ecology and International Affairs from the University of Georgia. After completing these degrees, she worked in Washington, DC, at the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine in the Ocean Studies Board. During her time at the Academies, she assisted on projects spanning topics like ocean acoustics, renewable energy, and a decadal survey of ocean sciences. She currently is a master’s student at the University of Maine where she studies Marine Policy with a focus on blue foods consumption and nutrition security.
